Nigerian Dwarf Goats are an American breed of dwarf goats whom have been in the USA since the 1950s. These gentle, playful animals have been known both for their milk production as well as for their companionship. Not only are they trainable, but some even accompany service dogs to nursing homes. There is no obstacle these determined little creatures cannot overcome... literally. Grazing and climbing are what they were made for. The weight and size ranges from 16-21 inches tall and 60-80 pounds.

In an effort to minimize our time mowing the lawn, we decided to purchase our family’s first goat. But it didn't last long until one goat turned into another which turned into several others. Not only have they become a beloved family pet, but they also have eased our work-load around the house.
